A Message from Our President

Prism Engineering Ltd. first opened its doors in 1990--back in the days before the terms LEED buildings, carbon taxes, global warming and cleantech investments were part of the energy management lexicon. From the very beginning of our journey, we focused on saving our clients energy, finding ways to improve efficiency in their buildings and operations, and changing the "energy use culture" within their organizations. Two decades later, our work of helping businesses and government lead the way to a more sustainable future has never been more relevant or important.

Robert GreenwaldThe case studies contained in this website highlight some of Prism's achievements over our company's history. Each piece helps tell the story of an engineering consulting firm focused on finding the right solutions to their clients' energy management challenges and following through to achieve solid results.

The clients featured in these pages are only a sampling of the organizations and businesses with whom we have forged mutually beneficial relationships. Whether the partnership has lasted 20 years or 20 months, we are very grateful to all our clients who have entrusted their energy management consulting needs to us. To every business and organization we have had the pleasure to serve, we would like to say "Thank you" and that we are proud to have played our part in "Saving you energy." We look forward to continuing to work together.

Our success over the years has been largely due to our dedicated team. We have grown to 45 employees who come together on individual projects to create the synergies that produce results for our clients. We have worked hard to create and maintain the open atmosphere of learning, communication and support that permeates our corporate culture. Thank you to all our employees, past and present, for being such an integral part of Prism's journey.

For me, one of the most personally satisfying aspects of working in the energy management sector is looking back on projects and seeing the quantifiable impact we have had on our clients' organizations and on the environment. Equally rewarding has been hearing the feedback we receive from workshop participants, who share with us their new-found passion and excitement for energy management. In those moments, it becomes very clear that we do make a difference; that we are part of the solution.
