Led by BOMA Canada with support from Environment and Climate Change Canada, the BOMA Enspire program is building on the success of the Building Performance Excellence initiative and expanding support for more in-depth retrofit activities with funding opportunities through its new Retrofit Ready initiative.Building on the success of the Building Performance Excellence initiative, BOMA Enspire’s new Retrofit Ready initiative provides funding to help commercial building owners and managers improve energy performance and prepare for deep retrofit projects. Funding is available for recommissioning and building optimization, energy monitoring systems, business case development, and retrofit coordinators, with support covering 60% to 80% of eligible costs.
Key deadlines: December 1, 2026 (pre-project applications), January 29, 2027 (activity completion), February 12, 2027 (post-project applications), and March 26, 2027 (program end date).
