Lighting Design
Lighting Design Services that Save you Money while Meeting Occupant Needs
Lighting design is both an art and a science. We work with our clients to develop both an aesthetically pleasing lighting design and one that maximizes energy savings.
We help our clients reach their lighting goals by conducting a comprehensive review and analysis of the existing lighting systems. This lighting "audit" includes a room by room inventory of lighting equipment, an analysis of measured lighting levels, collection of data from lighting loggers and interviews with occupants and building management. Where significant changes are recommended, we model lighting systems and simulate the impact on light levels and users with up to date software tools.
Using the information collected, we identify energy savings opportunities in a lighting feasibility report and work with clients to develop a plan to design and install more efficient lighting solutions. The study outlines electrical savings potential, costs for new or modified equipment and a financial analysis of the proposed work. We provide various options for lighting design including technologies, controls and occupant interaction to optimize performance.
